New York, New York

This week I'm having a little vacation New York.  I went to school in the city, so it's fun to come back and see friends and my favorite places.  On Thursday I attended the reception for the "Of Mice and Monsters," gallery exhibit at 440 Gallery in Brooklyn. The turn out was amazing! So many people came out to see the show and enjoy the illustrations of  41  artists.

The cool thing was that a lot of the artwork is hung at eye level for kids! I'm guessing my painting was hung at eye level of a two year old, hee hee.

After the show, we headed out for some refreshment and dinner and walked past this neat house:
