Inspired by the Childrens book,
"SHE'S WEARING A DEAD BIRD ON HER HEAD!" by Kathryn Lasky.
The book is about two ladies, Minna Hall and Harriet Hemenway, who campaigned for the end of the use of dead birds for decoration on hats during the Victorian era.
Fun children's book. Fantastic illustrations by David Catrow.

Awesome hat...even if the idea is to not want to wear dead birds.
Missy St. James seems very satisfied with her hat, however.
