Suit!!

If I knew how to use Illustrator my lines would probably be less shaky.
But...I don't. So shaky it is.

PS
Not a Redford portrait, but inspired by him tho...hehe.

The Sting

I saw "The Sting" for the first time yesterday.(Where have I been!?) I love it!! The music, Chicago in the 30's, the Saturday Evening Post inserts, Robert Redford and Paul Newman being all slick and goofy at the same time, yes awesome movie! I ran out and bought it.

I love this outfit.

How can you beat a brownish/red tailored suit with pink pin stripes!!?

Hat #2 : color

These hats are for my banister/hat rack project for the show in may.
The hat rack will be decorated with these little hat vignettes.

I'm making:
12 of people wearing hats (like the ones posted) and
12 separate images of different hats by themselves.

It's fun

I'm still trying to figure how to get everything in the right place, so for now my archive links are not working.

But it's nice to be back up and running!!

EDIT: Archives back in order! Now back to the artmaking! :-)

Lexington...a rehearsal!

This weekend I headed over to Lexington and watched a rehearsal reenactment in preparation for Patriots Day.

During the 2nd run through the Minute Men got a little goofy:

(Sam Adams and his fine brew decided to join the rabble.)

It was nice to see a bit more of the town I work in everyday. (I never stray much past the exit, since I work about 2 minutes from Rt. 2 )
